Responsibilities of the Fixed Income Portfolio Analyst, Leading Investment Firm:
  • Assist investment professionals with analysis required for the construction of fixed income portfolios
  • Perform pre-trade portfolio analysis and prepare orders for investment professionals as well as pre and post-trade compliance checks
  • Monitor portfolio risk metrics by generating reports and analyzing model scenarios to support the investment professionals' decision making
  • Provide support for day-to-day activity in client portfolios and funds
  • Work closely with the investment and trading team to monitor real-time fixed income activities
  • Review and validate rules entered into compliance monitoring system
  • Lead/participate in team and departmental projects and process improvement initiatives
  • Any adhoc projects that and assist in any ad hoc tasks and requests relevant

Requirements of the Fixed Income Portfolio Analyst, Leading Investment Firm:
  • Strong knowledge of fixed income instruments, markets, and the investment process; experience with derivative instruments
  • Strong technical skills and a strategic mind-set with business acumen
  • Excellent stakeholder management, and keen eye for detail
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to effectively interact across different functions
  • Well-versed in Excel and Bloomberg, VBA, Aladdin and Python is a plus
  • CFA certification is a plus
