This position is responsible for following key objectives:
  • Managing client Portfolios under the guidance of CIO strategic view and DPM procedures
  • Evaluating the risks and opportunities of investment portfolios.
  • Track and monitor daily spreads/prices for all fund positions.
  • Regularly meeting with investment analysts and company managers to discuss financial matters
  • Researching companies and exhibit a strong Fundamental view on Sovereigns
  • Write commentary and provide market updates.
  • Monitor holdings and help identify buy/sell candidates relative value comparison
  • Relative value analysis of potential investments versus alternative investment options - both within and across asset classes.
  • Reading financial briefings and constructively challenging Research views
  • Making informed financial recommendations and decisions
  • Keeping knowledge up-to-date about the economy, current financial news and financial markets
  • Liaising with clients, with the ability to distil confidence in tough market environments
  • Provide bond analytics, model portfolios, and presentations for prospective clients.
  • Maintain relationships with Street analysts to facilitate the flow of credit and market information.
  • To assist fellow Portfolio Managers with reporting and other duties as necessary to meet client requirements.


Qualifications
Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years experience in investing Fixed Income Products
  • Familiarity with financial risk models (market, credit, liquidity risk assessment and forecasting)
  • Strong report writing and communication skills
  • Familiarity with ESG investing
  • Expert at Excel spreadsheet analytical development and utilization
  • Preferably Advanced skills in quantitative methods of data analysis
  • CFA qualifications preferred
