Finance Manager (Insurance/ up to S$8K) (ID: 519164)

Job Scope

• Provide leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team
• Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company
• Oversee the preparation of all financial reporting (budgets, account payables, account receivables, expenses etc) and ensuring timely management reporting, forecasting and budgeting
• Prepare and present periodic financial forecast and results to the Chief Executive Officer
• Provide strategic recommendations to the management team and advising on long-term business and financial planning
• Responsible for ensuring the risk and compliance management framework is embedded and operational for the company
• Review internal controls and corporate governance for the company
• Establish and develop relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders
• Manage tax compliance matters such as filing GST and corporate income tax returns
• Work with the company's auditor and implement measures for better internal control
• Develop company policies and reviewing all formal finance related standard operating procedures
• Other matters involving accounting, treasury and taxation matters of the company
• Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, CPA, ACCA or its other equivalent
• At least 7 years of experience in a related industry
• Possess a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
