The Corporate Development Executive / Manager will be responsible for supporting the Head of Business Development and Chief Financial Officer on business development and corporate finance activities including acquisitions, bidding for greenfield projects, executing project finance, debt and equity capital raising, corporate forecasting and financial modeling.

The role is a dynamic role that involves managing M&A and Financing processes, leading modeling and valuation analysis, coordinating due diligence, and developing presentations for internal and external stakeholders, within the context of the corporate strategy.

The Company is a power and infrastructure developer focused on South and Southeast Asia, in the gas power and infrastructure sectors, and expanding into sustainable development and renewable energy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, update and maintain the corporate financial model for use in forecasting, budgeting, credit ratings and scenario analysis in case of acquisitions or capital raisings
  • Build and maintain financial models in support of: bidding for new projects, executing project financing, and evaluating M&A / acquisition targets
  • Assist in valuation analysis for acquisition targets
  • Prepare presentation materials for management and/or the Board of Directors and relevant committees in support of M&A, corporate finance or other strategic initiatives
  • Evaluate M&A targets and greenfield proposals based on strategy and returns requirements
  • Assist in managing and coordinating project development or M&A activities, interfacing with internal and external stakeholders or banks/financiers
  • Manage due diligence processes for acquisitions or fund raising
  • Support project financing activities for existing and new projects
  • Working with finance teams of subsidiary companies to monitor ongoing financings and ensuring compliance with financing agreements and covenants
  • Support corporate fund-raising exercises such as loans, bond and IPO
  • Research and stay current on market trends on key focus markets for the company in South Asia and Southeast Asia

  • Good Power point and presentation skills
  • Willingness to learn, understand new markets and stay abreast of market developments
  • ¬†At least 2 years of relevant work experience at a bank/advisory firm, Big-4 or multinational would be helpful
  • Ability to assist in managing transaction processes, due diligence, valuation or structuring
  • Experience working in teams and demonstrated ability to work effectively individuals/staff at different levels
