PMG Management Office ("PMO") is the Operating Centre of Excellence for Product Management Group across all offerings, all teams, and all locations. The team is responsible for strategic initiatives, data management, new products, change, and transformation including Advisory & Execution, operational risk and business management.

Reporting to the head of Content Led Wealth Management and working in close collaboration with the Portfolio Management squad, the Performance Specialist is a specialized role to support PMG and the Bank in the capacity as a thought leader and key subject matter expert on portfolio performance/risk analysis, investment advisory and analytics capabilities.

The SME is responsible to define the performance methodologies and handling end user queries in effort to enhance stakeholders' experience. The candidate will have exposure working with various industry leading portfolio management applications.
Working together with the Product Owner in the Portfolio Management Squad, the Portfolio Performance SME main responsibilities will include:
  • Define the underlying framework, methodologies, processes and business requirements for portfolio monitoring, performance, concentration, asset classification etc.
    • SME to support Project teams in implementation of above concepts including defining requirements, validating approach, participating in UAT etc.
    • Analysis & validation of portfolio performance including ownership and definition of methodology (MWRR, TWRR etc.) that adheres to Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS)
    • Identification of root cause, analyze remedial action and communication with clients and stakeholders including Relationship Managers to explain queries related to portfolio insights
    • Liaise with system vendor to report system deficiencies and enhance the system according to bank's requirements
  • Owner / Administrator of bank-wide portfolio performance and health check monitoring
  • Participate in sprint planning, review, and retrospective
  • Attend stakeholder's management, user council and conduct user training
  • Manage product backlog and ensure product features address end users' needs.
  • Monitor developments in the marketplace and provide leadership to enhance automated solutions for investment processes
  • Address ad-hoc requests by management


Qualifications
Requirements
  • Minimum 7 - 10 years of experience in Banking/Financial institution, particularly in Risk & Performance analytics
  • Degree, master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Computer science or Technology
  • CFA certification is a plus.
  • Other relevant certifications or qualifications are advantageous
  • Strong knowledge in portfolio performance measurement and risk assessment methodologies.
  • Domain (wealth management) knowledge in statements, client review reporting
  • Good understanding of financial products and asset classification framework.
  • Experience in Change Management (agile & waterfall) & conducting user training.
  • Hands-on experience with Triple A Plus / T24 is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Databases, SQL, Tableau, Python.
  • A driven self-starter who is delivery focused and possesses strong communication, influencing and presentation skills.
  • W ell organized with a natural inclination for conceptual thinking, planning strategy and solutioning; able to multi-task and meet multiple deadlines.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and good interpersonal skills, the candidate will demonstrate ability to work confidently and collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders of varying seniority.
