Your key responsibilities
- Perform fundamental/quantitative investment analysis mainly on Asian equities across sectors
- To identify investment opportunities, estimate company intrinsic value and discuss with the investment team
- Research and prepare reports on investment ideas. Able to build and update financial models
- Participate in regular investment meetings with the investment team
- Perform trade execution, rebalancing and other portfolio management tasks
- Update and monitor investment guidelines for portfolios
- Prepare materials, including client reporting and marketing presentations
- Contribute in projects and other ad-hoc duties as assigned
- Contribute to the team's portfolio construction discussions and decision making
Your skills and experience
- A Degree holder with at least 3 years to 7 years' experience as an Equity Analyst (with the ability to build financial models)
- Prior experience in identifying investment opportunity and the ability to write investment reports
- Strong command of the English language and business fluency in Mandarin is needed to read research papers & communicate with stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of macroeconomic trends and global financial markets
- Good understanding of investment concepts and ability to apply in both written and oral communication
- Experience in the use of derivatives will be an advantage
- A team player with self-directed, self-motivated personality
- Detailed oriented with strong analytical and critical reasoning skills
- Proficient in Bloomberg, Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word)
- CFA charter holder and programming skills will be an added advantage
