Responsibilies:
  • Ensure control, efficiency, and effectiveness of the firm's operations covering front, middle and back-office functions
  • Identify gaps in the current operations of the firm, suggest improvements and implement changes to improve effectiveness of the operations workflow
  • Work alongside with front office in leading middle office functions such as performance attribution and portfolio analytics reporting
  • Work with front office in identifying and resolving issues in operational structure
  • Spearhead changes in the fund structure to ensure a scalable business model, taking into consideration the needs of external investors reporting.
  • Facilitate and source for suitable software(s) in collaboration with the investment team
  • Maintain professional relationship and liaise with service providers such as brokers, custodians, private bankers, etc.
  • Work with compliance and external counterparties on regulation and compliance matters and relaying these to internal teams and management
  • Any other ad -hoc projects

Job Requirements:
  • Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or equivalent
  • CFA, FRM or CIPM will be an added advantage
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably with a stint in the buyside
  • Well versed in front office trading systems and portfolio performance measurement
  • Good understanding of financial instruments and asset management industry regulations, market practices and operational trends
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Open minded, ready to take proactive responsibility and accountability on all aspects of the role
