Vice President - Risk Management

Job Description:

Plan, design and implement an overall risk management process for Singapore office
Monitor and manage the overall market and credit risk exposures of the Singapore office
Monitor and implement operational risk related parameters
Interact and liaise with all local stakeholders including Business Lines, Finance, Operations and Legal & Compliance departments
Work with Hong Kong HQ risk team on aligning group risk strategy and methodology
Being the primary contact of BU for all the risk management related issues for Singapore office
Conduct annual risk reviews and exercises for the local office
Risk reporting for major business lines on periodic basis and risk reporting for the local office to Hong Kong HQ
Responsible for ad-hoc projects/assignments
Conduct periodic stress test
Review risk related terms for documentations/agreements
Maintain and improve local risk monitoring reports
Analyze & evaluate trade/client data to identify various key risk areas
Develop and update policies and procedures by enforcing document standards
Act as the primary contact point for risk related enquiries from local regulators and auditors

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of risk management related experience in investment banks or securities firms
Minimum Bachelor degree graduate from Finance, Risk Management, Accounting or other quantitative disciplines
Professional qualification such as FRM / CFA is a plus
Knowledge of MS Excel VBA and macro
Versatile, proactive and able to work both independently with minimal supervision and also collaboratively with other departments
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
