Chief Operations Officer

We are working exclusively with a global macro hedge fund who seeks to hire a COO for its business.

In this role you will be responsible for developing and launching their new investment fund products both in the traditional and alternative fund space. You will be facing off to their clients who are both private and institutional and will be responsible for managing those client relationships. You will also be expected to advise internally what investment fund structure to use and where to domicile fund by choosing the most appropriate jurisdiction in line with AIFMD etc.

You will select all service providers and will manage their KPIs. You will have some basic support initially and will be expected to grow a team as assets under management continue to grow.

It is vitally important that you have a strong understanding of the investments as you will be interacting with the investment team on a daily basis. You should naturally have a commercial personality as you will have interaction with clients daily and will also be involved in raising capital.

Job Requirements:

• At least 10 years experience in either prime brokerage consulting, middle office, fund administration or in house operations experience with a hedge fund business.
• CPA/ ACCA/ other Accountancy qualifications are strongly preferred
• CFA qualifications are advantegous
• Well-spoken, articulates well and have the ability to present oneself commercially
• Singapore Citizen or Permanent Residents only
