Junior Analyst, Asian Equities & Japan Equities

Job Responsibilities

Research Analyst covering auto sector in Asia and Japan;
Develop research insights by conducting fundamental analysis on companies in this sector;
Value the companies' securities based on a sound and thorough understanding of their business, competitive position and growth prospects;
Build and maintain earnings and cash flow models for companies covered, with varying degree of granularity;
Proactively communicate investment ideas within the Investment team.

Job Requirements

Good university degree with CFA preferred;
Will consider candidates with less than 3 years of experience in advisory, research or investment management role within banking, brokerage, asset management or fund house working environment;
Excellent research and analytical skills and ability to conduct probing and comprehensive interviews with management and to build value-added relationships over time;
Able to construct and articulate a concise investment thesis, and pitch a recommendation to senior professionals with conviction is essential;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Strong team player;
Good interpersonal skills.
