  • Health & Life is one of four verticals within our Private Equity business, covering a large range of sub-sectors across healthcare services, life sciences and medical technologies. The Health and Life vertical, with over $7bn invested, is looking to add to its team in Singapore.
  • You will work in the Private Equity Direct Investment team and take part in all aspects of lead private equity investments within the Asia Health & Life vertical.


  • Responsibilities
  • Conduct strategic & financial analysis of the healthcare sector, its subsectors, relevant investment themes and companies across key Asian Markets (China, India, Australia, South East Asia)
  • Quantitative and qualitative analysis on prospective direct equity investments in healthcare services, life sciences and medical devices companies
  • Assist in preparing Investment Committee papers for, and attend Investment Committee meetings on a regular basis
  • Assist in transaction due diligence work-streams, including financial, commercial, legal, tax, etc.
  • Participate in meetings with current and prospective, target companies as well as on-site visits etc.
  • Conduct various tasks related to product reporting, monitoring investments, market research, and marketing efforts


What we expect
  • Excellent academic credentials with consistent track record, coursework emphasis on Finance, Business Administration and/or Economics.
  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience in top-tier private equity, investment banking, management consulting, transaction services and/or in-house corporate development.
  • Healthcare and life sciences exposure either through academic background (e.g. Biomedical, Biological Sciences, Health Sciences) and / or hands-on work in healthcare Private Equity / M&A transactions would be significant plus.
  • Strong financial modelling and valuation skills, with excellent command of essential Tools (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint).
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work in global multi-cultural teams and cross-border investment environments.
  • Self-starter, strong work ethic with a desire to learn and succeed.
  • Fluent in oral / written English; familiarity with other Asian languages is a plus but not essential.
