Investment Counsellor, Private Banking

Responsibilities

• Contribute to investment strategy development and support account managers on serving clients with providing comprehensive investment solutions covering various asset classes

• Be responsible for the investment strategy development and execution of related transactions
• Proactively identify investment opportunities and update markets toward internal (account managers) and external (prospects and clients)
• Work with CUB HQ to develop a long-term strategy for growth and client development.
• Present investment ideas and economic views to prospects, clients and advisors
• Develop a strong understanding of the firm's product set and strategies
• Develop strong client relationships with Private Bankers, Family offices
• Conduct research into new sales opportunities across the intermediary space in various assets/markets
• Work with compliance and related stakeholders to fine-tune internal guideline for PB business

Requirements

• Minimum a Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Business/Accountancy/Banking & Finance or a relevant discipline
• Minimum 10 years' experience in a similar advisory/product/sales role
• Strong understanding of FX/bond/Equities/Structured products/Alternatives/Private Equity and can provide asset allocation view for these assets
• Strong understanding of Taiwanese High Net Worth Individual's need
• Familiar with loan products (Lombard loans & Premium Finance, etc)
• Self-starter who is highly organized with Excellent work ethic and willingness to build a new business
• Proficient in spoken and written English/Chinese/Taiwanese to liaise with Chinese speaking headquarter counterparties and clients
