Our client is a leading private equity firm in Asia with many offices locations and employ more than 120 employees across its network of offices. Since 1997, the firm has managed closed-ended private equity type structure funds for prestigious institutional investors. The firm has regulatory licenses for fund management activities and the Singapore office covers South-East Asia region from here.

Description
  • Produce quarterly financial reports and annual audited reports, as well as capital account statements and underlying paperwork.
  • Manage the external audit and internal audit processes.
  • Handle the SPC management account by working with local service providers.
  • Oversee the preparation and delivery of drawdown and distribution notices to limited partners, as well as the payments.
  • Understand, prepare, and review waterfall calculations.
  • Calculate valuation of portfolio companies by working closely with investment teams. Run the valuation process.
  • Review and approve work performed by external fund administrators, accounting service providers and internal junior accountant.
  • Provide portfolio investment structuring support from an accounting and tax perspective by working closely with the deal team and external experts.
  • Set up SPVs.
  • Prepare and file regulatory and tax reporting such as LP register, CRS, and schedule K-1.
  • Collaborate on other regulatory reports by working closely with the compliance team.
  • Provide full support to the senior leadership team via ad-hoc analysis and assist in strategic business decision making.
  • Provide investment return analysis such as multiples and IRR calculation.
  • Simulate management fees and carried interest revenues as well as expense forecast.
  • Estimate cash flow forecast based on investment/exit plan.
  • Determine remaining capital commitment forecast based on capital call and distribution plan.
  • Calculate expense review against approved amount


Profile
  • Undergraduate degree or above in relevant disciplines.
  • CPA or equivalent.
  • Professional qualifications or certifications in investment, internal audit, tax, risk management, ESG, or other relevant areas is advantageous.
  • 5 years onwards of working experience.
  • 3+ years of accounting, or audit, or other relevant experience gained from Big 4 or global financial institution.
