What you will be responsible for
As Securities Finance Business Development you will
Responsibilities:
  • Identify and develop new prospect relationships to establish a robust pipeline of revenue opportunities.
  • Execute against sales pipeline to win and monetize new prospect accounts against budget and growth expectations.

Deliverables:
  • Develop and execute a business development strategy in line with the overall Securities Finance strategy and goals (focus on demand and accretive supply, 3rd party lending, opportunity trades, etc.,).
  • Create and execute a calling program to target and develop prospective clients (including conferences, SSA research, corporate entertainment, ads, media articles, etc.)
  • Collaborate with Country and Segment Sales to pro-actively identify and convert potential new clients, leading contract negotiations and ensuring that onboarding is completed efficiently.
  • Schedule, manage, and execute all prospect interactions, including the preparation and follow up.
  • Organize, produce and maintain marketing collateral in accordance with corporate standards, including the creation of bespoke presentations when required.
  • Manage the RFP process in conjunction with the SSGM RFP team and Segment Sales, including regular reviews of the RFP response database and the creation of bespoke proposals when required.
  • Update CRM database (Salesforce, etc.,) to ensure accuracy of all prospect information (interactions, leads, opportunities, etc.,)
  • Embrace risk excellence culture (including self-identification of risks, updating non-standard risk documentation, reporting and escalating of issues in a timely and appropriate manner).

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • MBA or other master's degree would be desirable
  • Sales and/or relationship management experience with financial institutions and/or hedge funds
  • Familiarity with securities finance or prime brokerage would be desirable
  • Ability to work under pressure in a front office environment
  • Ability to work closely with other team members and related groups
  • Highly motivated to achieve personal and group targets
  • Superior verbal and written skills, with local language fluency (preferred but not required)
