Business Risk Specialist (Data Analytics) - Contract

My client is a top tier investment bank, located in Singapore. They are currently looking for a Business Risk Specialist who has strong experience in data analytics (Alteryx), data sampling and risk controls to take on new projects in the team.

Your new role

• Support the execution of risk based analytical data sampling

• Handling data and related tools on daily basis.

• In charge of data related investigations, issues and solutions

• Working with business and functional partners in helping them manage risks and implement necessary controls using digital tools

• Looks into emerging technologies like data analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning

What you'll need to succeed

• Must have 3-5 years of experience in business risk controls/data investigation related execution

• Must have 3-5 years of experience in Alteryx

• Understand the order-taking process in general and also be able to understand the associated data architecture supporting the order flow process.

• Continuously support and evolve the data sampling and reporting needs of the business risk organisation.

• Build trusted relationships with business and functional partners to improve and evolve sampling and reporting methodologies.

• Ability to use analytics tools to design, implement sampling graphs and perform deepdive data analysis.

• Analytical, proactive and flexible in dual hatting between daily production and occasional change initiatives.

• Take the necessary steps in resolving key issues and risks as or before they arise, removingobstacles to progress.

• Ability to boil down complex data topics into easy to understand concepts for the layman.
