The Role :
  • Work closely with L2 support team to resolve critical issues when needed
  • Manage regular security scanning, load and performance testing, disaster recovery test for applications
  • Conduct root cause analysis, bug fixes and minor enhancements
  • Manage incidents, problems, data patching and service request tickets
  • Identify risk and provide timely report to senior management
  • Deliver and contribute to the production assurance, prepare status reports, presentation packs, meeting minutes and relevant management information for management
  • Engage with SMEs, Infrastructure teams to escalate/remove impediments
  • Work with releases management and development teams for releasing product incremental features
  • Build and Maintain knowledge management Database
  • Manage support team members and their workloads
  • Conduct Agile ceremonies
  • Interact with Business Users to understand the issue and provide timely resolution
  • Direct a team of associates consisting of onsite and offshore resources
  • Manage the overall process for suite of applications
  • Ensure production stability, all the times
The Successful Candidate :
  • A graduate degree in Computer Science and Engineering / Equivalent.
  • 10 years of experience in Production Support role on a Java platform
  • Must have intermediate to advanced skills on EJB, Spring and Spring boot
  • Hands on experience with Struts and JSF frameworks
  • Extensively worked on Documentum tool, Elastic search, Logstash and Client Proprietary tools like CRM.
  • Possess a fair understanding of private banking and investment banking
  • Comfortable working with Linux / Unix systems
  • Should have experience on Portal and Portlet framework like Liferay
  • Largely exposed to ITSM tools like ServiceNow, HPSM, Jira and Confluence
  • Good yet influencing communication skills
