About the Department
The Group Strategy and International Management function supports the Group's corporate and strategic planning and hold the responsibility for providing management oversight to the Bank's overseas banking subsidiaries and branches. We are focused on enabling the sustainable growth of our international business by deepening and entrenching stakeholder relationships across our network.

Job Responsibilities
Who we're looking for:
Reporting to the Executive Director, Head of Planning and Finance, Group Technology & Operation, this role is an experienced team member of the critical central Chief Operating Officer's office. This team unit is responsible for translate strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth helping to implement GTO goals, performance management, and operating planning across the GTO functions.
What you'll do
• Enable effective execution of organisation strategy across GTO together with its stakeholders
• Enable the oversight of GTO performance indicators, focusing on ensuring a clear link to business outcomes and business value
• Monitor performance with tracking and establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed reports, both current and forecasting
• Proactively and transparently manage capital investment and expense prioritization, across Technology and Operations
• Ensure there is an active governance process in place for strategic organisation focus areas, knows who the decision makers are, and are engaged with them in the right way to drive business outcomes

Job Requirements
The knowledge, experience and qualifications you'll need to succeed:
• Significant experience of IT and personnel management involving a large and diverse workforce
• Excellent stakeholder management capabilities, interpersonal skills, effective communication and presentation skills.
• Possess aptitude and a strong process, IT and accounting skills, ideally proven in a complex and highly distributed organisation.
• Good knowledge of project planning and experience implementing projects
• Understanding of business planning
• A solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics
• Be able to diagnose problems quickly and have foresight into potential issues
• Possesses drive and initiative
• Demonstrate effective leadership skills, with strong resolve and personal integrity
• Strong team player
• Tertiary level qualifications in Accounting / Finance / Business or equivalent
