The Wholesale Bank function operates a dynamic business model that provides financial services and solutions to help our clients achieve their strategic business objectives. Our mission is to become the premier-provider of banking services and solutions for Asia-based commercial banking companies (small medium enterprises), large corporations, financial institutions as well as multinational corporations. Our coverage teams work in full alignment with specialised teams across Transaction Banking, Investment Banking, Global Markets and Group Retail to deliver seamless solutions to our clients.

Job Responsibilities
The Product Development Manager focusing on digital channels will play an important role in development of the bank's Trade capabilities within the digital channel. Working with both a strategic and a tactical focus, the suitable candidate will contribute to enhancing our clients' digital experience and as a result help drive new transaction volumes into the bank. The individual will have responsibility for managing a portfolio of initiatives which will be partly global and partly market-driven in nature. As the domain subject matter expert, candidate will be required to work closely within Transaction Banking and Wholesale Bank stakeholders as well as with Technology & Operations counterparts for all Trade Channels related initiatives.

Key Responsibilities include:
• Manage the end-to-end product development process of Trade & Financial Supply Chain Management products for the Wholesale Banking corporate and NBFI/FI clients, encompassing the back-end transaction processing systems, front-end online platforms (online/H2H/API) as well as strategic partnership and alliances that impacts the delivery of our trade value proposition to our clients
• Work with stakeholders to detail design and articulate business requirements and review of functional/technical specifications of the end-to-end Trade and Financial Supply Chain Management products to support focus client segments and industry verticals
• Review with functional and business units to redesign the end-to-end process for trade transactions to leverage on new product capabilities and functionality so as to achieve scalability and efficiency
• Work with technology and operations team as a business representative to provide insights into the formulation of test scenarios and provide guidance to UAT team where required for user interface/user experience related business requirements
• Work with internal functional teams and external players to drive the bank's trade digital strategy including but not limited to AI, OCR, APIs, H2H, & other DLT/block chain related initiatives.
• Work closely with Transaction Banking Channels team to ensure seamless integration between TMRW/Infinity platform and Trade channels
• Maintain awareness of relevant trends and developments in the market and in the bank's products and services.
• Continuously evaluate the bank's digital capabilities to identify and prioritize opportunities to grow volumes and revenue
• Develop business cases for prioritized initiatives
• Development and execution of key trade solution / enhancements in Channels
• Develop and deliver training to business units & operations teams for the above enhancements
• Launch and commercialization of key trade enhancements, including post implementation tracking of anticipated benefits
• Quantitative and qualitative analysis, management reporting on the ongoing projects
• Managing risks and regulatory issues associated with trade flows in Channels
• Product capabilities information to be kept up-to-date and professionally documented for both internal and external audience, thus ensuring the available features and services are correctly commercialized

Job Requirements
• Degree or Equivalent
• At least 5-8 years' experience in banking or relevant industries and an exposure to project management / product management
• Candidate should have a deep understanding of Trade products including Financial Supply Chain & Traditional Trade products. Operational (hand on) experience of these products would be an added advantage.
• Understanding of digital channels, mobile technology including the features / benefits of the products and services offered, and how those features benefit customer
• Prior experience on Host-2-Host solutions, development of APIs & any third party ecosystem integrations would be preferable
• Experience in conceptualizing and articulating sustainable and cost efficient business solutions
• Analytical, critical, and creative problem solving skills with an in-depth understanding of utilizing electronic delivery channels to meet business goals
• Effective and persuasive communication including but not limited to;
o Expertise on English language (both written and spoken)
o Attention to detail, ability to articulate without ambiguity
o Quality documentation which may include management reporting, client-facing materials and business requirements definition
o Oral presentation skills required.
• Proven inter-personal skills to actively engage with cross-cultural teams across the globe in understanding client needs, training the group & country staff, managing queries and feedback etc.
• Business acumen: Demonstrates thorough understanding of a wide range of elements of the Bank's business and the customers, industries, and trade partners with which the Bank is involved
