About OCBC Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFI) Team
OCBC NBFI Team provides financial solutions and advisory for clients in the Insurance, Exchanges, Broker Dealers, Financial Leasing, Regulated Funds and Alternatives (Private Capital Funds, Hedge Funds) segments. Products and service offerings include:
• Cash & liquidity management accounts
• Digital payments & collections solutions
• Treasury solutions with a focus on FX, fixed income, equities, interest rates and structured products.
• Credit facilities (bilateral/syndicated, unsecured/secured/assets based)
• Debt capital markets advisory

Position OCBC as the preferred banking partner for NBFIs in Asia through quality client services and product engagements across our regional platform.

Job Description
  • Key duties include but are not limited to:
    1. Have a good understanding and market knowledge of a wide range of NBFIs, including insurance companies, exchanges, broker dealers, & financial leasing companies.
    2. Ability to develop business, follow industry trends, understand regulatory capital requirements to form appropriate business proposition (across key product groups) for clients.
    3. Conduct customer visits/ calls with product partners to cross sell different products and service to deepen engagement with clients.
    4. Recommend appropriate credit solutions, limits, structures (including requisite maintenance covenants) across various loan and treasury products.
    5. Work with analyst team to manage annual industry & credit reviews for assigned portfolio.
    6. Monitor developments in market conditions, regulatory changes, country risk and table relevant updates.
    7. To understand OCBC's policies & procedures for doing business with NBFI clients (all segments) across countries in APAC.

Reporting to Team Head

  • Bachelor or master's degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics, or related fields.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of relevant working experience.
  • Good communication, writing and presentation skills.
  • Product knowledge of Trade, Treasury and Capital Markets would be an advantage.
  • Mastery of Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams, OneNote, OneDrive) required.
  • Good team player who is driven, pro-active with a positive attitude and comfortable working with different teams within the ASEAN region.
