We are looking for an Associate, Events and Engagement Coordinator, to join the Director's Office in Technology Group to provide holistic support ensure the success of all department related events and engagement activities. This will include the end-to-end support of events including planning, coordination, content development and program management, as well as being able create simple and compelling content that helps people in GIC understand and appreciate Technology related information.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, promote and implement department related virtual and in-office events.
  • Work across department to plan and implement their annual calendar of events.
  • Coordinate initiatives that support our people engagement agenda.
  • Participate in the content development lifecycle including exploring stories, engaging with stakeholders, and developing compelling content.
  • Support the publication of content across our digital channels such as Yammer, SharePoint and similar platforms.
  • Prepare newsletters and publications to create awareness and provide clarity on Technology related contents.
  • Manage multiple inboxes, calendar and booking tools in relation to event management.
  • Coordinate support and engagement with internal and external teams and vendors (catering, logistics, rooms, furniture arrangements as needed for key events) and maintain all vendor relationships to ensure consistent quality of services.
  • Manage all logistical communications to respective stakeholders.
  • Assist with general Director's Office activities, when needed.

Requirements
  • Minimum 1- 5 years of working experience within a related field.
  • Ability to do editing and presenting to internal audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills within team and across functions.
  • Technically savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work collaboratively across a multitude of stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in managing virtual meeting channels such as Teams and Zoom.
  • Resourceful and proactive in responding to stakeholder needs and requirements.
  • Strong attention to details and good judgment in handling/processing information.
  • Ability to prioritize and possess good time-management skills.
