Group International Management (GIM) provides management and governance oversight to our international branches, overseas banking subsidiaries, and private equity investment management subsidiaries to achieve sustainable development and contribution to UOB. Via our investment management platforms, we are able to provide financing to privately-held companies in ASEAN and China through direct equity investment. F rom offices in New York and Paris (aside from Singapore), we are also able to provide integrated asset management solutions with a comprehensive product range that serves institutional investors worldwide and to bring UOB's Asian regional investment strengths to clients outside that region who are seeking exposure in Asia - thus meeting clients' needs across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Asia

Job Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities in private markets for UOB in Asia Pacific
- Manage/maintain and deepen/grow existing book of clients in alternative investments (real estate/hedge funds/private equity market) and drive commercial results for Asia Pacific; responsible for fundraising results
- Identify and develop new relationships with institutional investors, including but not limited to family offices and financial institutions
- Promote our products, identify clients' need and provide professional advice with a full range of products or solutions
- Ensure the relevant prospects information (prospects details, qualification of interest, feedback, follow up) are collected into our database in compliance with the regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with fund management teams within UOB as well as partner fund managers
- Organize and coordinate road shows within Asia with the fund managers
- Work closely with team members and head office, including reporting on sales and pipelines
Job Requirements
- MBA/bachelor's degree or above in any disciplines, with a solid academic foundation in finance and economics, is a plus
- 10-15 years of experience in private market sales from a financial institution with a proven sales record
- Experience and understanding of Institutional asset management across a broad range of alternative products
- Familiar with fundraising process and have a deep understanding of the financial market
- Outstanding communication skills with both external and internal parties; capable of liaising effectively with global counterparts
- Good organisational skills, team player with excellent verbal and report working skills
- Proficiency in Excel, Word and Powerpoint
- Willing to travel if required
