About the Department
The Retail function provides Personal and Business Banking customers with financial solutions tailored to their needs. We help them manage their money wisely and meet their financial goals through an extensive range of products and services. These include deposit, insurance, secured and unsecured loans, investment and wealth advisory services.

Business Banking
We develop integrated products and services targeted at helping small and medium-sized enterprises across the region progress through different stages of growth. These include innovative solutions and initiatives in areas of working capital loans, operational efficiency and currency exposure.

Job Responsibilities
Drive & deliver the Deposits balances and revenue targets, including new accounts acquistion targets
- Formulate and execute operating account strategy and drive main bank account proposition
- Develop & implement digital adoption & engagement strategy to convert customers to self service to transact online
- Work closely with key stakeholders including Group Transaction Banking, Sales, Channels, Portfolio Analytics, Compliance and etc to drive sustainanble growth for the product.
- Ideate campaigns & product bundling to increase product penetration to existing customer base
- Maximize outreach programs to scale acquiisiton of new to bank customers, inlcuding identifying new sources for high quality leads
- Regular review of risk controls & adherence to AML/KYC compliance requirements.
- Preparation of management reports to help track and review business activities as well as performance against budget.
- Ensure smooth end to end process for sales and customers with process improvement initatives to reduce or remove any frictions in the workflow
- Manage a team of product managers and provide the necessary coaching and training

Job Requirements
Has strong business accumen with at least 15 years of experience in SME/Large Corporate banking, particularly in the cash management business
- Possesses flair and keen interest in developing strategy around digital adoption & engagement
- Strong data story telling ability, drawing insights & devising action plans from the data
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills required. Must be good team player with collaborative mindset.
- Ability to multi task and enjoys working in a dynamic working environment
- Highly focused, self-driven and willingness to take on additional initatives/tasks to drive key business strategy
