Wealth Management business is a core focus for Citibank Singapore. The AVP Retail Marketing plays a key strategic role in supporting the Retail Banking business in their ambition to scale their wealth management offerings in Singapore.

This person will be responsible to drive the overall marketing of the retail bank's investment offerings, digital wealth capabilities and support existing/new segment campaigns.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with business stakeholders across product, segment, legal and compliance, finance, channel execution teams as well as with the regional marketing counterparts
  • Lead and manage external creative and media agencies to develop and deliver best-in-class marketing campaigns across paid and owned channels
  • This individual is also expected to have the capabilities to determine effective media mix across traditional and digital marketing; target the right audiences and optimise media spends for campaigns in order to achieve target media KPIs and business outcomes
  • Manage and maintain all aspects of the marketing budget to ensure effectiveness in marketing spend, as well as invoice payment, accruals, forecasting, expense reconciliation and audit report
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency


Knowledge/Experience
  • 5-8 years working experience
  • Marketing campaign and agency management experience, with a demonstrated ability to shape creative work and media strategy
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to engage with internal and stakeholder stakeholders across varying levels of seniority
  • Proven analytical, project and process management skills
  • Possess business acumen and apply this in marketing campaigns to drive business objectives
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the retail banking business specifically in the areas of wealth and investments; as well as the emerging affluent and affluent client segments
  • Organised, detail-oriented and the ability to execute on deliverables in a timely manner
  • Team player; ability to partner and negotiate with cross functional teams to successfully deliver client needs
  • Intellectually curious, proactively seeking and developing new opportunities
  • Demonstrated sense of accountability and decisiveness
  • Adaptable, resourceful, possess the ability to set priorities, and to work well within a team environment
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Analytics and Adobe Targeting


Education:
  • Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience
