About the Department
UOB Venture Management is a leading private equity firm that manages a family of funds in excess of S$1 billion. Through our headquarters in Singapore, and our offices in Shanghai and Jakarta, we provide financing to unlisted companies via direct equity investments. These cover early-stage, expansion and pre-IPO companies in China and the ASEAN region. We also invest in socially responsible high-growth companies that play a part in helping to improve the living standards of communities in Southeast Asia and China.
Job Responsibilities
We are seeking a self-driven professional to join us in our Singapore office, as part of the investment team. As a member of the investment team, you will be working actively in investment deals primarily in Southeast Asia and Greater China, across different industry sectors. The candidate will be involved in due diligence, portfolio monitoring, value creation as well as divestments. You will also be expected to support the team with financial modeling and research. Travel on a regular basis within the region is expected.

Job Requirements
- A good degree from a recognized university.
- 2-4 years' experience in investment (private equity, venture capital or public equities), investment banking/financial advisory, financial analysis or consulting
- Financial analysis or modelling skills
- Strong communication, writing and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in reading and writing Chinese to support Greater China market
