Business Function:
Group Strategic Marketing & Communications is responsible for building, protecting, and enhancing the DBS brand in an increasingly commoditised banking industry. Working closely with all units within the DBS Group, we create and execute integrated strategies that focus on communications especially digital communications, marketing and research to differentiate - and elevate - our brand from the rest of the competition.

Responsibilities:
Contract Management
  • Draft Grant letter of offers and vendor contracts/agreements/addendums
  • Liaise with Grantees and Vendors throughout the contracting process
  • Comply with internal processes to lodge and file the approved contracts in a timely manner (online and offline)
Payments & Finance management
  • Ensure timely submission and processing payments to Grantees and Vendors using DBSF payment system (via payment advice) and bank payments (via Coupa)
  • Liaise with DBS Finance Payments team on regular and timely submissions as required
  • Work with DBS Finance team to ensure proper financial records of payments and accruals
  • Provide monthly updates on budget commitments and disbursements
Grant Programme
  • Support and manage in the end-to-end process of the Grant Call for Application and Evaluation stages
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that information, platforms, websites are all updated
  • Manage translations of application forms and liaise with vendor
Employee Engagement
  • Support skills-based volunteering activities with SEs
  • Manage skills-based volunteering posts on PoP Central
Community and Communications
  • Manage functional inbox and respond to general enquiries on a timely basis
  • Prepare eDMs for communication with SE community

Requirements:
  • Recognised degree related to Business / Finance / Communications / Technology or other relevant disciplines
  • Minimum 2 years work experience, with strong organisational skills, with some experience in a start-up environment, SME, investment firm or similar. Volunteer or internship experience in the above should be highlighted.
  • Passionate about being purpose driven and keen interest in the social enterprise ecosystem
  • A team player who works collaboratively within a horizontal organization
  • Highly organised project and process management skills
  • Effective communication and writing skills
  • Proficient at Microsoft Excel - ability to analyse large set of data, prepare charts and provide meaningful insights
  • Proficient at Microsoft PowerPoint - to organise presentation headline and points
  • Basic understanding and ability to read financial statements
