Description

Our Wealth Management Summer Internship Program is designed to provide insights to key business segments and critical front office functions within our Wealth Management business. High potential undergraduates will be working closely with selected Relationship Management teams to gain relevant experience, exposure and training for a career in Credit Suisse. The Summer Internship Program is a pipeline program for our full-time Analyst Program which focuses on hiring for junior Assistant Relationship Manager, Investment Consultant and Products & Solutions Specialist.

Your field of responsibility

Our internships are widely regarded as one of the best and most comprehensive summer programs globally. The program will start with a one-day company orientation followed by business-specific induction sessions. Your learning experience will continue through the senior speaker series, where you will hear from inspiring senior leaders across the firm. To help you identify your strengths and plan your career, you will have access to suitable mentors within Wealth Management, who will provide advice and direction throughout the summer. You will also participate in numerous events that will help growing your network and build your understanding of how a private bank operates. The 10 weeks are well-structured to offer you the right balance of work, social events, charity events and networking opportunities.

Assistant Relationship Manager

The ARM plays an integral role in the entire client management lifecycle, working closely with Relationship Managers (RMs) to actively service our clients and deliver our client value proposition. In addition, you will support the Market team with administrative tasks.

Investment Consultant

Each IC team is embedded in a key Market Area within WM APAC. The IC Intern plays an integral role in the client advisory lifecycle, working closely with ICs to actively service our clients and deliver financial advice that aligns to our clients' investment strategy.

Product Specialist

The P&S Intern plays an integral role in the delivery of our products and solutions, working closely with senior product specialists and solution advisors to actively service Relationship Managers and our clients.

Qualifications

To apply for the summer program, you should be in penultimate year of an undergraduate program (graduating between December 2023 and June 2024).

Whatever your background, you will need to be:
  • Interested in the private wealth management industry and the products and services within this area of banking.
  • Interested in the financial markets and its various asset classes and instruments (a degree in Finance or related disciplines is preferred).
  • Outgoing, service-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills (language skills may be an advantage in certain locations).
  • Motivated by challenging and dynamic goals.
  • Able to work well in a demanding, fast-paced environment and adaptable to change.
  • A critical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work in a team and build strong relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Committed to the highest standards of ethical behavior.
