Product Control Analyst - Commodities Trading Multinational

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Middle Office manager, the Product Control Analyst will be responsible for calculating and reporting the daily exposure and profit and loss for the use of management and trading teams. He/ She will also be reconciling on a timely and accurate basis the performance of the middle office trading system with the monthly accounting results. The analyst will also ensure that all P&L movements are fully understood and documented, with clear explanation of how the market movements and trading strategies have resulted in the changes observed.

Requirements

The successful candidate must possess a minimum of 3 to 5 years' work experience, including 3 years in product control or risk in a commodity trading or financial services environment. You will also have a good knowledge and understanding of the trading markets and instruments, ideally within commodities. Candidates with strong IT skills including VBA will have a distinct advantage.
