About the Department
Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations.
We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure.
Our Operations divisions provide transactional customer services for our businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation and straight through processing.

Job Responsibilities
The incumbent is responsible for all aspects of software delivery and release for applications in the external API domain. Applications include the API Gateway (Axway) as well as microservices (Java Springboot) for payments and consent.
  • Work with a team of subject matter experts, architects and software developers to deliver projects and change requests via in-house development or vendor (Axway).
  • Manage business stakeholders expectation and establish best or alternative solutions that are feasible within the technology and timeline constraints
  • Review solution design and effort estimates from the team and prioritize projects and change requests assigned to the team
  • Manage delivery of initiatives - projects and change request. Responsible for planning, manage vendor and in-house development, solutioning, implementing and maintaining software applications systems.


Job Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science / Engineering
  • Hands-on experience and deep technical knowledge and skills in the following technologies:
    • API Gateway (preference for Axway API Gateway, other products can be considered)
    • Groovy / Javascript
    • API Portal (preference for Axway API Portal, other products on Joomla can be considered)
    • Middleware (IBM MQ, Connect Direct, Control-M)
    • Java (Springboot, Camel, JBoss application server)
    • Infrastructure (Linux, databases including Oracle, Cassandra and MariaDB)
    • Security (SSL, JWT, JKS, OAuth, SAML, Threat Protection, Cryptography, WS-Security)
    • DevOps (Bitbucke, Jenkins, SonarQube, VeraCode, TOSCA,)
  • Experience in Integration Architecture API Lifecycle (API Definition, Implementation and Testing, API Publication, API Consumption and AIP Operational Metrics)
  • Experience in an Application Development role for large/complex projects involving multiple technologies; experience with container-based technology (e.g. OpenShift) is a plus
  • Experience in project Software Development Methodology - initiation, planning, tracking, requirement analysis, design, development, testing, implementation on open systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • A strong and assertive communicator in speaking and writing
  • Resolving and influencing the positive outcome of conflicting objectives and priorities
