Our client is a global payment platform connecting banks. It is formed by 3 renowned brand names in the FI industry. It has developed an open industry platform to reimagine and accelerate value movements for payments, trade and foreign exchange settlement in a new digital era.

To encourage broad participation across the banking industry, the firm will be actively engaging leading banks to join the platform to establish the scale required to benefit the industry. The platform will start with a focus on facilitating flows primarily between Singapore-based banks in both USD and SGD, with the intent to expand service offerings to other markets and in various currencies.

We have a start up role opening for an experienced Marketing professional to establish and lead our marketing activities including setting the brand and strategy and executing on a world-class go-to-market plan. The role will report to the COO.

Objectives Of The Role
  • Develop, manage, and execute online and offline marketing strategies and communication channels that engage and inform both customers and prospects
  • Ensure consistency of messaging and positioning of the co's brand across all channels of communication both internal and external including value proposition and product GTM
  • Own and manage the creation and execution of content marketing plan, including white paper development to engage existing and new customers and positioning the company as an industry thought-leader that is constantly innovating
  • Plan and execute the marketing strategy to deliver on business objectives, including product and feature launches, and full funnel engagement
  • Own and drive the marketing plan across multiple channels including content, events, social, paid, comms, website, CRM; managing the calendar, budget and measurement.
  • Plan and execute virtual and in person events. Develop the narrative and creative assets and bring the brand to life in interesting ways.
  • Be the champion of the customer, partnering closely with the sales and product teams to provide customer and market insights, feeding into product development, and advising teams on market opportunities.
  • Identify, onboard, and manage key agency capabilities including creative, media, research, content, comms and events; and collaborate with digital media owners.
  • Responsible for updating the marketing website, including product pages, solution pages, landing pages, etc.
  • Build robust processes to scale the marketing function and create operational efficiencies, including playbooks, KPIs and team OKRs.

Required Skills And Qualifications
  • 10+ years' experience in B2B marketing gained with technology or Financial Service firms, with exposure to content marketing and event management.
  • Proven track record of delivering product marketing campaigns that deliver brand awareness, engagement and adoption.
  • Demonstrated ability to take complex products or technical information and bring it to life in a clear and engaging way.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Adept at managing and prioritising stakeholder requests.
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills.
  • Experience executing on large scale marketing programs across multiple channels
  • Exposure to marketing across multiple markets and regions.
  • Happy working in an individual contributor role being hands-on, whilst also implementing ways to scale marketing functions and impact and grow the team.
  • Thrive in a start up and growing role

Preferable Individual qualities
  • The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to work quickly to establish the marketing function, and to execute on critical marketing deliverables.
  • He/She will be a master at taking complex, highly technical technology products and translating it into clear, simple, client narratives that educate and excite our audience on the next generation of global payments
