The Role: Event Content Manager (Producer)

The Team: You will be joining a highly motivated, close knit and collaborative team, who are responsible for and have flawlessly delivered globally renowned events across the APAC region with the aim of connecting thousands of industry leaders with tailored and practical events.

The Impact: We engage with customers, market participants, industry organizations and regulators every day through our high-profile industry events to provide a platform for our customers to exchange ideas and make valuable connections.

What's in it for you: As part of the research and production process, you will have the opportunity to research the hot topics, build relationships with key industry figures and produce exciting, market driven conference agendas, from an idea on a page, to the delivery on the day of the event.

Responsibilities:
  • Works with multiple functions (commercial, product, content/insights and event team) to grow portfolio and deliver value to our business and the communities we engage
  • Analyze and identify key industry trends to deliver engaging, commercial content
  • Develops event themes, programs and speaker lists to agreed timelines and milestones
  • Secures the participation of high-level speakers from industry, policy, academia and internal thought leaders (content and commercial)
  • Works with marketing to define target audiences and create communications materials that will drive registrations
  • Works with the commercial partnership team to identify partners, assisting with sales meetings and pitches as required
  • Works with event operations to enhance the overall experience at events from registration to onsite running
What We're Looking For:
  • Project management, planning, researching and delivering successful events
  • Excellent research, writing and communication skills
  • Sound commercial judgement; ability to understand and distil new information quickly
  • Proven organizational and planning skills, proficiency to prioritize, multitask and meet strict deadlines
  • Strong commercial acumen, professionalism and presentation skills; experience supporting sales and marketing to deliver ambitious targets
  • Tech savviness
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Journalism, Marketing Communications, History, Humanities or Business Management
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in conference/event production
  • Experience in the energy & commodity industry (oil and gas, petrochemicals, metals, gas, power and agriculture) a plus
  • Knowledgeable of a number of event and technology platforms inc. Cvent, On24, Zoom, TEAMS, 6connex, Salesforce a plus
  • Proficient in Office 365 applications
