Senior Finance Manager

Our client is the newly established single-family office of a reputable and highly-regarded Singaporean family. They are looking to build a team to exercise professional stewardship of their assets and are looking to hire a Senior Finance Manager who will be part of the pioneer team to build, operate and institutionalise best finance practices for the office.

Reporting to the Finance Director, the Senior Finance Manager will:

A) Be Responsible for Group's operational finance functions including:

• Cash management and day-to-day liaison with banks
• Monitor and manage funding requirements within the group
• Prepare and review management reports
• Maintain financial accounts for group entities
• Responsible for tax reporting (corporate tax, GST)
• Work with auditors and tax advisors to ensure compliance for Singapore and offshore entities

B) Participate in, and contribute to group strategic finance planning including:

• Trust structuring, tax planning, compliance monitoring
• Cross border funds transfer and taxation planning
• Risk Management

C) Assist the CIO in portfolio investments through:

• Monitoring existing investments of the Group, including managing capital calls/distributions
• Assist in evaluation and execution of new deals, including due diligence, incorporation of companies, tax matters and financing

Requirements

• Degree qualified in Finance and Accounting with professional qualifications like Chartered Accountant or ACCA preferred.
• Minimum 10 years relevant experience in accounting, tax and audit functions.
• Experience in trust structuring and cross-border funds transfer is a plus.
• Entrepreneurial personality comfortable working within a boutique environment. Collaborative team player with personable nature and excellent communication skills.
