Team structure:
Part of an integrated (internal and external) communications team across Asia Pacific with seven members in the team. Reporting directly to the Singapore-based Senior Corporate Communications Manager, Asia Pacific. The team is led by Hong Kong-based, Director, Head of Corporate Communications, Asia Pacific. Team members are based in Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo and Mumbai.

Employee Comms
- Work across all business areas (CIB and PB) and markets within Asia Pacific to partner on communication topics for employees
- Implement a comprehensive internal communication plan in partnership with the APAC communications team to support the bank's strategic objectives
- Plan, edit and create content for a variety of medium e.g. Intranet page, videos, emails, newsletters etc
- Draft messages and speeches for business stakeholders for presentation to colleagues
- Support internal events across the business and geographies, from operational level to preparing briefing notes to strategic messaging and content development
Media Relations
- Implement the firm's PR and media strategy in APAC, building our reputation and ensuring effective media coverage
- Support the APAC communications team in media pitching and managing media inquiries
- Content responsibilities include, but not limited to writing and reviewing of thought leadership pieces, blog posts, videos and social media posts
- Plan, draft and proofread articles across the Asia Pacific CIB business, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business strategy
- Be a trusted and dependable point of contact for business stakeholders
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree
- Excellent English written (includes editing and proofreading) skills, business fluent Mandarin preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in corporate communications, preferably within a financial industry.
- A self-starter and positive personality who likes working in a fast-pace and diverse team.
- A highly organised multi-tasker who can balance multiple priorities and is detail oriented.
- Experience in collaborating with senior business partners, also within different corporate levels and regions.
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office).
- Outstanding presentation and interpersonal skills.
