We are seeking an Assistant Vice President level candidate for the Rewards Strategies team. This team is responsible for the design and implementation of GIC's compensation, benefits, and performance management policies globally and across all business units.

We are seeking an Assistant Vice President level candidate for the Rewards Strategies team. This team is responsible for the design and implementation of GIC's compensation, benefits, and performance management policies globally and across all business units.
Responsibilities
- Partner with HR Business Partners to advise or deliver workable solutions to business on compensation issues
- Assist with structuring lateral hire compensation offers including valuing deferred compensation buyouts
- Create and run a variety of ad hoc compensation reports, analysis and diagnostics
- Support the year-end compensation process end-to-end, including the annual benchmarking exercise
- Keep abreast of the latest news as it relates to compensation, benefits and performance management practices
- Manage multiple projects across multiple teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in economics, statistics, finance or related field
- 5 years of experience in compensation, including salary and incentive compensation, market surveys, analysis, research and modelling
- Strong strategic and analytical skills
- Excellent MS Excel skills
- Solid consultative/communication skills and has the ability to influence decisions
- Ability to work independently and part of a team
- Knowledge of financial services industry would be a strong asset
