As a Barclays Relationship Support Manager, you support Relationship Directors (RDs) with managing relationships, business development, product knowledge, sales research and client acquisition support. You will manage data integrity and all client information by ensuring it is accurate, up-to-date and easily accessible with the Salesforce CRM tool. You will also perform required controls to help manage and minimise risk within the business

What will you be doing?
  • Developing a good working relationship with the fulfilment areas to ensure smooth co-ordination and completion of all tasks
  • Ensuring client complaints are logged with the Client Servicing team and following- up for resolution
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key customer contacts acting as principal point of contact in Relationship Director's absence
  • Actively seeking out opportunities to grow income and / or free up the Relationship Director's time
  • Ensuring a robust customer contact strategy is in place. Representing the business in projects that impact on business as required
  • Holding regular meetings with RD to review pipeline, financial performance and client activities
  • Researching markets, identifying target names & preparing client strategies, playing a key role in ensuring client information is accurate & kept up to date
  • Working with KYC team to obtain all relevant KYC documentation and ensuring they perform the KYC Refresh in a timely manner
What we're looking for:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience of working in a regulated (Banking & Financial Services) environment
  • Knowledge of cash management, trade & working capital, debt products and risk-weighted assets (RWA) optimization
Skills that will help you in the role:
  • Knowledge of a typical credit application process and credit risk policies and procedures
  • Local market knowledge and key players within
  • Comprehensive knowledge of mandatory risk policies and procedures relating to credit conformance and regulatory, operational and legal risk
