We Offer
The APAC Trade Surveillance Team is responsible for identifying and escalating instances of market abuse and any other activity that adversely impacts financial markets for the APAC Private Bank ("PB") and Investment Bank ("IB"). Your responsibility includes:

  • Provide accurate review of Level One trade surveillance alerts before passing on to the Floor Surveillance Officers ("FSO"), ensuring timely raising of cases
  • Conduct and document monitoring reviews and raising of potential red flags for further investigation
  • Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of existing surveillance methodology to ensure that surveillance programs are robust and up-to-date
  • You will provide a feedback loop to FSOs and Regional Platform Head (RPH) on alerts, scenarios performance and any trend analysis undertaken
  • Be coordinated with broader Surveillance team across the region
  • Establish the surveillance methodology for new monitoring topics in response to partners' requirements
  • Engage with supervisors to fully understand the Supervisory Risk and Control Frameworks
  • Daily engagement with FSOs to ensure tight-knit collaboration and the ability to learn from their experience and expertise
