As an Associate Director, Transaction Banking Sales, you will be responsible to manage and grow your Payment & Cash Management (PCM) and Trade & Supply Chain (TSC) portfolio of accounts through client acquisition, cross-sell and organic growth strategies. You will collaborate with the Relationship Management Team, Product Management partners and other stakeholders to ensure an effective and value adding strategy is identified for clients. You will execute the strategies to deliver the desired customer experience outcomes while achieving your revenue returns target and minimising all potential risks to ANZ. Your portfolio of clients will be global in nature and includes supporting key ANZ clients from Australia and New Zealand.

In line with ANZ's Transaction Banking business which covers both Cash Management and Trade Finance, each member of the team is expected to be cross trained and in as short period of time, be proficient in both disciplines. The role has additional focus on PCM solution commercialisation and Regional Sales activities managing Regional Treasury Centre clients. You will be required to support or lead RFPs responses, presentations and product demonstrations. As a member of the Transaction Banking team, you are expected to display teamwork in supporting team members for both bank and client activities. You are also expected to lead such initiatives across teams and deliver the desired outcomes.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following -
  • Deep understanding and relevant experience in Transaction Banking solutions/concepts and, Transaction Banking Products (Treasury, Payments and Cash Management, Trade Finance and Supply Chain Financing).
  • Strong customer focus and relationship management skills and existing experience of managing global Multinational Corporates (MNC) segment, especially Regional Treasury Centers.
  • Strong understanding of the business and market environment in all countries which ANZ operates, especially Australia and New Zealand.
  • Understanding and interest in digital trends and innovations such as blockchain, eWallets, digital assets, AI, ML, IoT and metaverse.
  • Results oriented with strong display of perseverance. Autonomous self-starter and meticulous in work quality and standards.
  • Strategic thinker, innovative solutionist and growth mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills, influencing and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent skills in MS Powerpoint, Excel, Word and Data Visualisation/Analytics software. Skillsets in Marketing, Commercialisation and Design is a plus.
