The position
This individual will primarily perform project-based work in support of our client-facing efforts. We envision that this individual will execute projects on behalf of the broader client team in Singapore and will gain valuable exposure to our APAC institutional and wealth business. The intern will develop analytical and project management skills and will learn how to work both independently and as part of a team. They would also gain an understanding of the asset management industry and gain exposure to strategies and funds across equities, fixed income and alternative investments.

- Coordination/Preparation of standard and/or customised client and prospect presentation materials, briefing books and collateral materials as well as meeting notes required for external meetings;
- Participating in in-house client, consultant and prospect meetings and conference calls as appropriate;
- Supporting the local Relationship and Business Development Managers in the organisation of client roadshows and client review meetings;
- Capturing and maintaining client data in relevant internal systems;
- Qualifying and coordinating Requests for Information/Due Diligence Questionnaires (RFIs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and working with internal teams to ensure that each one receives the proper response;
- Developing an understanding of the depth and breadth of Wellington Management's investment approaches.
- Other tasks and projects as assigned by the team to either help with business development or process improvement
The candidate should possess the following qualifications:
- Demonstrates interest in investment management with an understanding of financial markets and investments
- Working towards a university degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Technology or related field preferred, but not required as we value diversity of thought and all major/minor combinations will be considered.
- Able to work full time from Aug 2022 to Dec 2022 and is graduating in 2023 or 2024
- Fluency in written and spoken English. Mandarin, Cantonese or Korean viewed favorably.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint as well as other financial databases would be viewed upon favorably
- Demonstrates accomplishments in academics, community service, and/or extracurricular activities.
- Highest ethical standards and integrity
- Demonstrates independence, creative thinking and an active problem solver
- Highly meticulous with a strong attention to detail
