Your team
Platform Operations Team holds the fort to the Infrastructure and the Platform services to support Avaloq's internal and external clients on a day-to-day basis. Being part of a dynamic team, the SMEs are involved in the inception, building and operating of the Infrastructure and Platform services, collaborating closely with Applications, Security Operations and Engineering teams.

Your mission

• Solid and well-proven competences on Unix, Windows operating systems and in all the techniques needed to interact and monitor Infrastructure as a Service and Platform as a Service platforms.
• Ability to analyze monitoring requests and transform them into rules and automations.
• Good organizational skills to balance and prioritize work, good analytical and problem solving expertise, ability to work independently and as a part of a team, flexibility in handling special projects and assignments.
• Application Performance Monitoring system knowledge, including Windows, Unix applications and Oracle databases.
• Hardware Monitoring system knowledge, including Network, Backup and Storage.
• Knowledge of Openshift Container Platform and Monitoring tools
• Knowledge of vulnerability assessment and patching / compliance tools including Microsoft SCOM and Redhat Satellite
• Knowledge of asset management tools including asset discovery and CMDB
• Knowledge of incident, problem and change ticketing tools, including interfacing with monitoring tools for straight-through ticketing
• Expertise in IBM ITM and Omnibus monitoring systems.

Qualifications

What you need

• Profile with at least 3-5 years of work experience in various Tools Management for large environment.
• Shell and scripting knowledge (bash, Perl, Python).
• Proven knowledge and practical experience on Unix, Windows and database systems.
• Ability to produce effective documentation.

• Experience with automation / simplification of monitoring environment
