Global Wealth Management (GWM) is a newly created business integrating Citi Private Bank and the Consumer organizations into a single platform enabling Citi to serve its clients across the wealth spectrum and capitalize on Citi's industry leading capabilities. As we embark on this journey of being the leading wealth management provider in Asia, it is important to have a best-in-class Technology Platform. The GWM Country technology lead will play a pivotal role to partner closely across the organizations varied teams to deliver unified experiences, innovative technology solutions, and best in class digital products for Singapore and IPB Clients.

Key Responsibilities:
    • Responsible for developing and managing strong partnership with senior regional leaders
    • Will be responsible to define Technology roadmap along with business strategy
    • Implement of Technology initiatives, manage technology, budget and expenses
    • Drive digital partnership and accelerate digital priorities and adoption of key initiatives across markets
    • Spearhead disruptive thought leadership, adherence to regulatory compliance, technology roadmap toward global standardization
    • Work closely with Country technology teams to oversee all stages of product creation including design and development.
    • Acts as a trusted advisor to the leadership team and addresses high impact strategic issues across its portfolio of businesses. Work in close partnership with business heads and senior leadership.
    • Lead the planning product release plans and set the expectation for delivery of new functionalities.
    • Work closely with Global wealth management leadership team to define and deliver the technology product roadmaps aligning to strategic business priorities.
    • Work in close collaboration with the product, sales and segments, regional and country teams to understand and anticipate business needs and translate them into technology product requirements.
    • Lead the planning product release plans and set the expectation for delivery of new functionalities.
    • Create pragmatic frameworks for measuring business value of implemented technology - iterate on roadmap basis the results.
    • Analyze market, the users, and the roadmap for the product; follow competitors and industry
    • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets. This will be accomplished by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

    • 15+ year's relevant experience in Wealth Management and/or Technology Strategy
    • 10+ years' experience managing large or multiple high performing business or technology development teams with demonstrable and measurable results.
    • Deep knowledge of wealth solutions with the ability to break down the work involved in solving them, and the impact of those decisions on business and product teams
    • Proven ability to influence decision-making at all levels within an organization and influence non-directs through data and a vision in a variety of contexts
    • Strong interpersonal, communication & analytical skills to engage, negotiate & prioritize the actions during the complex & multi-faced situations to pursue the best outcome for Global Wealth Management
    • In-depth understanding of the business and financial drivers.
    • Ability to lead and direct a team of knowledge professionals. Problem structuring and analytic capabilities; ability to take a complex problem and organize it in discrete pieces for solution. Ability to size and prioritize large-scale initiatives across businesses. Ability to work effectively with senior and middle level managers and with large interdisciplinary teams.
    • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

    • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Master's degree
