About the Department
The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. We work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Singapore and overseas branches.

Job Responsibilities
You will be responsible for leading the DevOps engineering excellence by rolling out DevOps capabilities, enhancing existing capabilities and optimizing the DevOps workflow for open systems, AS400, Mainframes, Containers and Cloud technology.
The successful candidate will be a technically-savvy, dynamic leader, excellent communicator, have demonstrable technical hand-on supporting CI/CD toolset coupled with excellent infrastructure knowledge and automation expertise.
As part of a cross-functional product development group, you should be comfortable with working as part of highly-talented teams ensuring that modern technology and process are utilised as part of the role.
  • Lead DevOps capabilities roll out within the organization in terms of traditional, container and cloud pipeline adoption for entire SDLC automation.
  • Maintain the DevOps platform and toolset matching the enterprise & FSI standard.
  • Shift left thinker with automation and workflow as the key driver to self-server the tasks for seamless automation.
  • Coordinate with the stakeholders from requirements gathering until successful implementation DevOps Initiatives.
  • Work with the vendors to setup DevOps solutions considering market best practice, Industry standard and ease of support.
  • Work with the vendors to upgrade the DevOps tools farm and Integrating with tools.
  • Configure SSO, SSL, Load Balancer, Auto Scaling and DNS setup for the DevOps Toolset with naming convention.
  • Lead analysis and resolution of root cause for Test Orchestration / Environment related issues
  • Stay current with industry trends and leads development of key DevOps, Runtime, and Operational innovation platforms.
  • Build relationships, obtain buy-in for proposed initiatives at Steering Committee level.
  • Conduct design reviews and challenge existing thinking


Job Requirements
  • Deep technical background in the following, but not limited to:
    • installing, configuring, integrating, upgrading and patching CI/CD toolset (Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Sonar, Veracode, JIRA and Confluence - ).
    • setting up CI/CD pipeline as a centralized solution as a framework.
    • DevOps governance, Security standards and audit requirements.
    • rolling out DevOps capabilities for Open Systems, IBM I (AS400) & Mainframes platforms.
    • setting up Traditional, Container and Cloud DevOps pipeline for monolithic, container and cloud applications.
    • continuous testing, techniques and tools (Junit, Selenium, Tosca, Load runner, Performance Testing etc)
    • continuous security, techniques and tools (Software composition analysis (SCA), Static Application Security Testing (SAST), Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) and Interactive Application Security Testing (IAST))
    • automation accomplished with advanced Python, Chef, Ruby and PowerShell
    • virtualization, cloud infrastructure and related technologies
  • A strong passion for infrastructure as code and associated automation and provisioning tools
  • Strong leadership, motivator and experience with high performing teams
  • Proven record of accomplishment of being result-orientated with demonstrated ability to achieve aggressive goals.
