Index Sales & Development, Asia

Holds responsibility for Index sales and business development in Asia
Focuses on increasing revenue from existing accounts and acquiring new customers
Works closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive research and create new index concepts
Work with development analysts in the team to create new index strategies in line with client's stated objectives
Present various scenario analysis and proposals to internal stakeholders and clients
Work closely with clients for the implementation and marketing of index solutions, and provide on-going client support
Creation and Provision of supporting marketing collateral for indices on digital platforms
Manage research and data vendor relationships (for both source and data delivery)
Monitor the market for feedback on existing indices and new opportunities
Continuous research and study of market trends and customer requirements
Publish thought leadership including presentations, whitepapers, index analysis, and commentary
Proactively promote our indices via webinars, conferences, media appearances, and client meetings

Requirements

Degree in mathematics, finance or engineering with minimum of 4 years working experience in a similar role within a bank or asset management firm.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build/retain client relationships and identify/provide comprehensive solutions for individual customer needs
Strong work ethics characterized by high energy and a positive attitude and the desire to go the "extra mile" for both external clients and teammates
Strong team player, who can work with others in an agile, demanding, and fast paced environment, who know how to execute quickly and efficiently
Ability to multi-task, detail orientated and attention to detail will play a key role in success of the individual
The individual must have strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with competing demands for resources.
Experience of managing and negotiating contracts
Familiarity with index calculation mechanics
Familiarity with ESG and Climate investing preferred
Familiarity with financial market data
Experience with data vendor terminals (e.g. Refinitiv, Factset or Bloomberg)
Strong problem-solving experience, analytical, and project management skills a must
