Candidate Acquisition Manager


As a Barclays Candidate Acquisition Manager, you will support our Talent Acquisition team in attracting candidates from Early Careers through to Senior Executives. This will be achieved by support our hiring community through our selection, assessment and offer processes, empower colleagues to plan and manage their careers. Reporting to the Regional Head of Programmatic Recruitment, you will be responsible for driving APAC candidate acquisition activity for Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB).

What will you be doing?
  • Driving APAC CIB candidate acquisition activity for all Programmatic channels; including Interns, Graduate and Apprentices as it relates to our events and assessment strategies
  • Partnering with the business and working in conjunction with Programmatic Planning teams
  • Agreeing and attending a calendar of events associated with attraction to all Programmatic channels including campus, recruitment events and school events
  • Developing, implementing attraction and assessment efforts that are in line with both firm goals and individual pathway goals
  • Educating stakeholders on our recruitment strategy, value proposition, and engage them in our efforts
  • Designing an impactful and integrated candidate attraction strategy based on data analysis and a deep knowledge of universities/organizations
  • Evaluating Return on Investment (ROI) on events and use information to inform future decisions/recommendations
  • Designing and executing assessment processes that will achieve firm goals while allowing for all Programmatic channels to effectively source for individualized programming
What we're looking for:
  • Japanese speaking is preferred as the role requires interaction with Japanese stakeholders
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to interact across all levels, with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Creative thinker with an ability to continuously evaluate and improve candidate outreach and assessment processes
  • Ability to consolidate and synthesize information across business lines to effectively and consistently communicate the regional acquisition efforts
Skills that will help you in the role:
  • Effective people management skills, and able to coach and drive a team
  • Preferable knowledge of regional end to end recruitment processes
  • Strong MS Office Packages including both PowerPoint and Excel
  • Strategically able to shape a compelling narrative and plan for recruiting candidates
