Responsibilities:
  • Operate in the front office as a licensed representative of a fund manager
  • Ensure the portfolio strategies and performance meets clients' needs
  • Responsible for portfolio construction, positioning, rebalancing and monitoring
  • Execute trades for portfolios under management
  • Leading all aspects of risk and control environments and liaise with internal teams (Finance, Risk and Compliance) to ensure approach is consistent with global practices for controls, oversight, risk and portfolio management
  • Supervise outsourced functions (Fund Administrator and Custodian) to resolve issues and investigation of NAV related queries
  • Assist in the preparation of distribution pay out process and in managing local audits, working closely with auditors
  • Handle cash and trade workflow error resolution
  • Handle corporate actions, including income events are processed timely across entitled funds
  • Validation of fund valuation as well as associated fund performance reporting
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree (Engineering or Computer Science preferred) with 2 - 4 years of experience within asset management (preferably in fund houses or fund operations)
  • Experience working with Portfolio Managers
  • Prepared to lead operational improvements and change
  • Independent, with good communication and coordination skills
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with automation tools (e.g. VBA, Python, etc.) would be an advantage
