The Role Responsibilities
  • Define and drive the multi-year vision for a big data processing platform.
  • Deliver robust and scalable solutions for bank's vision, invent, or incorporate in new technologies when needed.
  • Develop and implement data pipelines that extracts, transforms, and loads data into an information product that helps to inform the organization in reaching strategic goals.
  • Translate complex technical and functional requirements into detailed designs
  • Create scalable and high-performance web services for tracking data
  • Ensure high quality designs that meet business and architectural goals.
  • Participate in strategic planning to achieve technical & business objectives.
  • Participate in hiring process, guiding, and mentoring engineers, product owners and program managers within and outside of the team.

Our Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology/System, Business or related disciplines.
  • 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Solution Manager, Product Expert or Product Owner in data driven digital transformation programmes, preferably in financial /banking sector.
  • Strong functional expertise in gathering, validating & documenting business requirements; creating functional specifications for solutions.
  • Experience working in agile team, knowledge of agile methodologies and agile ceremonies.
  • Knowledge of project management and collaboration tools like JIRA, Confluence, Trello and Mural.
  • Advanced proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of externa/market data (such as Company Fundamentals, ESG) is preferred.
  • Knowledge in Cloud (AWS/Azure/Google), API and microservices is preferred.
  • Agile certifications are strongly preferred.
  • Able to generate good project documentations, such as drafting user stories, presentation packs.
  • Ability to manage senior stakeholders across multiple streams - business users, technology, finance, data.
Role Specific Technical Competencies
  • Passionate about data, ability to work on large datasets and complex analysis of datasets using appropriate data validation tools.
  • Proficiency in of one or more of business Intelligence tools like Tableau, Power BI, MicroStrategy, QlikView etc.
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) with the ability to deliver complex messages to senior stakeholders.
  • Proven problem-solving skills
