About the Department
Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations.
We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure.
Our Operations divisions provide transactional customer services for our businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation and straight through processing.

Job Responsibilities
Joining as the Head of Enterprise Technology & Operations (T&O), Human Resources (HR) and Group Strategic Communications and Brand (GSCB), you will provide leadership and technology solutions specializing in Enterprise Technology for Human Resources, and Strategic Communications and Brand across the Bank. This includes and is not limited to primary expertise in HR, and Strategic Communications and Brand systems. In partnership with Group HR and GSCB function leaders and stakeholders you will design, implement and lead the technology roadmap strategy for their organizations. You will ensure the Bank's technology solutions support the GHR and GSCB function's strategic goals and ambitions.
You will be extremely adaptable and possess exceptional communication skills to be able to build and foster great working relationships with business and technology stakeholders alike and your team members. You will be a visible and influential people leader, with an ability to inspire, guide and train the people around you.

Stakeholder Relationship Management
• Build strategic relationships and alliances with stakeholders to achieve common goals.
• Drive the organization's technology alignment with business needs.
• Inspire stakeholders to pursue the organization's technology vision
• Manage critical internal and external stakeholders' changes in needs and priorities
Establish information and digital strategy as a business-technology conduit
• As a trusted partner, advise senior leaders on technology trends to influence the formulation of business strategy. Keeping abreast of key global trends in HR, and Strategic Communications and Branding
• Develop strategies to ensure seamless integration and performance of technology in all aspects of the business
• Establish systems that facilitate data analytics throughout the organization
• Evaluate existing digital capabilities against strategic priorities
• Ideate approaches to maximizing the value of digital capabilities and technology investments to business
Manage IT development and operation risk
• Advise policy reviews in line with evolving internal and external environments
• Establish organization wide risk assessment and management frameworks
• Guide risk management strategies, disaster recovery and business continuity efforts
• Review results from risk assessments for mitigation
Managing portfolio of projects
• Develop a digital project portfolio and roll-out plans
• Establish key milestones, deliverables and metrics in project development
• Provide status updates to stakeholders to re-establish priorities and garner buy-in
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop systems and applications that works within a broader ecosystem of providers
Develop talent for Technology
• Develop plans to acquire skills and necessary resources for the continuous development of organization
• Develop plans to build the capabilities of the team
• Mentor a team of senior IT leaders
• Develop programmes aimed at upskilling the organization's workforce in the technology space
• Review outcomes from talent development initiatives

Job Requirements
• You'll have over 15 years of the relevant banking experience, having managed technology development teams of at least 10 team members. Equivalent experience and skills also considered.
• Good and proven fundamental knowledge of Project Management
• Deep understanding of the HR, i.e. SAP HR, SuccessFactors and WorkDay, and Strategic Communications and Brand Systems
• Strong quantitative, analytical, problem solving and process design skills that can translate analysis into actions that meet business objectives
• Understanding of technology and operational processes across functions / departments in the bank/market
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Manage divergent agendas and divergent stakeholders with win-win solution
• Manage organizational ambiguity and differing stakeholder views
• Strong understanding of business strategies and ability to translate them into concrete achievable action plans
• Ability to collaborate, drive motivation across diverse team members and manage difficult conversations
• Owns and enhances workflows and processes, and delegated with clear accountabilities across the teams for delivery of outcomes
• Creates and environment of learning and development through each other's success and failures. Understands and channels team members to their personal and professional growth via challenging and stretch assignments.
• Strategic forward-thinking approach to challenges with outstanding influencing, negotiating and persuasion skills
• Passionate, diligent individual with ability to thrive in ambiguity
• Resourceful team player
• Tertiary level qualifications in Engineering/Technology/Business/Finance or equivalent
