About the Role

T he Fund Accounting Supervisor/ AVP reports to the Vice President and provides fund administrati on services to a portfolio of funds, mainly hedge funds.

Primary responsibilities include:

Fund Accounting Work
  • responsible for supervising d aily processing of transactions for a portfolio of investment funds and the preparation of cash reconciliations
  • review Net Asset Value ("NAV") files for the team's portfolio
  • liaise with investment managers, prime brokers and custodians in relation to trading activity as required for transaction processing and NAV preparation
  • prepare client compliance files, maintain the client database and perform general administrative functions related to client funds
  • assist in the invoicing process, collection of receivables and will liaise with auditors to provide requested information and respond to queries.
  • Assist with set up and onboarding of new clients
  • Assist the Vice President to manage the team and coach junior staff

What You Bring

In addition to indisputably high ethical standards and autonomy, the ideal candidate should possess the following:

  • will be a graduate with an excellent academic background, a professional accounting designation and at least 8 years' relevant experience in investment fund accounting and offshore administration;
  • Good English communication skills and be able to speak Mandarin .
  • A team player with positive attitude to face clients and offer work-related assistance to clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to handle work/client deliverables with tight deadlines.
  • Proactive and willing to handle task individu ally
