Key responsibilities

Sourcing Department (Regional & Global)
• Accountability for the execution of the sourcing strategy associated with the assigned category
• Setting strategic direction for the procurement function
• To establish leadership capabilities in managing any regional or global projects, i.e. oils tenders, open
costing negotiations
• To drive regional sustainability targets with the sustainability team
• Upgrading the procurement function within the best practices to keep pace with the company's growth
Trading Department
• To develop new opportunities in third party business and physical trading in Malaysia, Indonesia, and the
Philippines
• Jointly develop creative hedging strategies for the assigned category in APAC
Quality Assurance
• To support BCAP Quality Assurance (QA) with any Non-Compliance Records (NCR) where required,
including liaising with suppliers for resolution and corrective action measures
Research & Development
• To manage product requests in support of research and development trials and innovation
• To work hand in hand with the regional R&D team in driving new projects and product developments
Sales
• Building and strengthening collaborative working relationships with the sales organization as business
partners
Supplier
• To negotiate the best pricing model with suppliers for the assigned portfolio in APAC
• To execute sustainable procurement policy through constant engagement with suppliers and 3rd-party
organizations
Customer
• To build strong relationships with our customers and to lead discussions on raw materials pricing and new
business idea
Qualifications
Bachelor degree preferably in Business Commercial subject or equivalent
targets, nonprice value opportunities, and risk mitigation

- Responsible for leading the oils category and improves the profitability of the region
- Driving new key initiatives in APAC, particularly in new cost savings opportunities and through third party
- Build collaborative business relationships with the assigned businesses, countries, and global functions
- Identify common themes across multiple execution projects and aligns overall execution planning.

- Improve financial position of the assigned category through the ability to execute and deliver cost savings
projects and new opportunities within the region or global
- To build collaborative business relationships with regional and global stakeholders
- Seek continuous improvement opportunities with suppliers and its implementation process
- Ability to get things done and multi-task; acts with a sense of urgency, willingly take on tactical roles to
achieve objectives with strong decision making and judgment skills

Qualifications

- Global/ Regional exposure and effective at cross-regional communication and influencing, setting the tone for
execution
- Presents insights on market trends and understands regional/ global needs of the organization
