The Role: Associate Director, Supply Chain and Commodity Price Analytics

The Team:

As part of a growing price forecasting team, you will be working with our price and cost analysts on the pricing team primarily located in London, the US and Malaysia. This team at S&P Global works with global supply chain organizations to deliver vital price, cost and inflation information that helps companies save millions of dollars. We do this by dissecting a material cost structure of our clients' suppliers, to provide a detailed analysis of their prices and costs. This provides our clients a strategic advantage in negotiating with suppliers, as well as a "blueprint" of when to make big purchases while minimizing risk.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a primary spokesperson for our global supply chain and commodity price and cost outlook in Asia
  • Work with the business development team in Asia to support sales efforts
  • Align data, insight and content offering based upon the client needs in Asia
  • Participate in the monthly and quarterly price forecasting process
  • Manage a team of researcher in Malaysia


What We're Looking For:

  • At least 8-10 years of experience in supply chain, commodities or pricing
  • Bachelors or Master's degree in Economics or related major preferred
  • Customer-focused background
  • Excellent presentation and client engagement skills
  • Excellent English speaking and writing capabilities
  • Proficiency in other Asian languages would be a plus
