Investment Services Public Markets (ISPM) is an integrated investment service team that uses data and emerging technologies to provide services for public market investment activities strategically and tactically. The team is responsible for business strategy and management functions for all public market investment groups, as well as GIC's global trade execution management, custody control and asset servicing, investment monitoring, regulatory compliance, futures and derivative clearing operations, collateral management, pricing and valuations, data solutions and services and asset rebalancing. The coverage extends across a spectrum of products such as equities, bonds, money market, foreign exchange, futures, collateralized securities and other derivatives.

We are looking to hire for an Associate/Assistant Vice President within the Investment Services Management function with focus on delivering strategic capabilities and partnership with the Public Markets investment groups, focusing on Public Market funds.

Responsibilities

  • Provide fund investment service to assist portfolio managers in their deal sourcing, deal due diligence and investment monitoring activities.
  • Exposures, risk and performance reporting, working with Portfolio Managers requirements to provide investment oversight functions.
  • Processing and management of funds data, e.g performance, returns, exposures, transparency; and generation of analytics required to support investment decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external parties to implement solutions to create business value and efficiency for the department

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience working in the financial industry
  • Experience working with fund investment data, including different hedge funds strategies, hybrid/complex structure, open-ended/closed-ended funds, is preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, in particular Microsoft Excel is a must. Experience in SQL, VBA, R or Python and visualization tools such as Tableau is highly preferred.
  • Strong interest working with data and applying analytical thinking, have good sense of numbers and attention to details. Enjoy working in a team, good interpersonal and team skills. Confident to engage different stakeholders to drive the desired outcomes
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, good time management skills and perform well under pressure
  • Possesses strong intellectual curiosity, eager to learn and constantly seeking out for improvement opportunities and new challenges
