We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Business Analysis Manager.

Principal Responsibilities

The role of Business Analysis Manager is to handle KYC reviews for all WPB individual customers including the end-to-end KYC review for all customer types including SCC declassification and de-categorization, evaluate information using KYC information on system to determine the Bank's appetite to maintain or exit the customer; ensure that the profiles are complete and meet the requirements for profiles to be approved by stakeholders such as Business & FCC.

Support the business to be CDD specialist to front clients and complete CDD reviews- collectively with the Relationship Managers. This includes (not exhaustive)
  • Working with GSC to establish data points in preparation of customer profile review
  • Build client profile (eg: SOW for SCC and High Risk customers)
  • Engage clients, on behalf of RM to obtain information and documents to meet CDD/ EDD LoBP requirements
  • Liaising with the RMs, Team Heads and Branch Directors/Market Heads on case matters to ensure alignment and consistent skills and knowledge to handle these reviews and profiling
  • Provide SME advice and training to frontline staff on CDD matters
  • Implement and maintain an effective operation coordination management in RBWM primarily on the CDD matters
  • Implement the process on Global Standards Program roll out on EDD/CDD activities
  • Provide feasible solutions/alternatives on potential risks or performance issues to ensure integrity of solution and mitigate any risks
  • Drive initiatives and work with GS, SD and regional project teams to ensure policies, training, technology and plans are duly executed
  • Innovate solutions and process to ensure an effective operation on the EDD/CDD process with positive impact on business
  • In addition, the incumbent is to assist with the setting up of work processes, governance, and controls for the system applications and tools (e.g. Adobe LiveSign) used across multiple functions

Requirements
  • 2-5 years in retail banking with relevant AML/CFT experience (eg: CDD/ AML/ KYC), including min 1 year of experience in client profile reviews (including client interaction) across various retail client segment
  • Knowledge & Experience of KYC / AML Regulations
  • Knowledge of Regulatory and compliance issues as required locally
  • Having a certification in AML/CFT related courses will have added advantage
  • Excellent understanding of the AML, Global Standards, KYC risk-based approach
  • Knowledge of Wealth and Private Banking Business Process
  • Customer centric with Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Strong telephony skills
  • Excellent business communication skills (oral & written) in English (other language capability/complementing Growth markets will have added advantage
  • Excellent planning and organizational skill with good time management skill with proven ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Methodical and lateral thinker
  • A self-starter who is able to work under minimal supervision, have a sense of urgency and proactive in dealing with day-to-day activities and tasks
  • Ability to perform process impact analysis and gap analysis on all the new regulatory and policy requirements or changes
  • Ability to execute at pace with high focus on results, while managing multiple priorities
  • Ability to interpret complex changes in regulatory guidelines and assess impact
  • Ability to handle crisis situations and take appropriate / timely decisions
  • Ability to work well under pressure with high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and provide resolutions within desired timelines
  • Self-motivated and should be able to work under minimal supervision
  • Pro-active & business orientated with ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands and ability to assess stakeholder needs to improve customer experience and showing resilience under pressure and providing best in class solutions
  • Strong computer literacy with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point skills and tool process management skills are required
